Extend to size widens or heightens an image by painting new scenery beyond its edges. Use it when a square photo needs to become a wide thumbnail or a tall story without losing anything.
How to extend an image
Open the image in Assets (or tap it on the Studio page).
Under Export for a platform, choose the size you need.
Tap Extend to fit with AI.
The extended image appears in your library.
Cost and plans
Extend to size uses 13 credits and comes with the Week, Creator and Pro plans.
Extend or download?
Download crops the image to fit the size. Extend to fit with AI adds new scenery instead. If the image already has that shape, download it at that size.
