This means the generation costs more credits than your balance. Nothing was charged.

You may also see:

  • "This voice-over needs [number] credits and you do not have enough left."

  • "This episode needs [number] credits (1 a minute) and you do not have enough left."

  • "This episode needs [number] credits and you have [number]. Top up on the Plan page."

  • A red cost line under the button, such as "Uses 8 credits · 2 left · Get more". The button stays greyed out until you have enough.

What to do

  • Choose a cheaper option: fewer images, the Fast model (1 credit), a Quick edit (1 credit), or a shorter video.

  • Tap Get more, or tap the Credits box at the bottom of the sidebar, to open Plan & credits. On a phone, tap the menu button (≡) at the top right first.

  • Under Top up, tap Buy next to 100 credits (₦1,000) or 300 credits (₦2,700). Top-up credits never reset.

  • Or buy or extend a pass for more credits: Week, Creator or Pro.

  • On Free, wait for your credits to reset. Plan & credits shows the date next to Resets.

Check your balance

  • The Credits box at the bottom of the sidebar shows your plan credits, with any top-up credits as a separate + figure.

  • The Studio page shows your total at the top, as "credits left".
