Resume Health and your Job Match score

What the Health score in the editor measures, and how it differs from Job Match.

Resume Health

Resume Health checks the quality of the resume itself, for example contact details, a summary, work history with results, education and enough skills.

  • On a computer, choose Health with its percentage in the editor toolbar.

  • On a phone, tap More, then Resume health.

You see the checks that pass and the open suggestions. Select a suggestion to jump to that section, or choose Dismiss to hide it. Dismissed checks come back when that section changes.

Profile completion

How much of the resume is filled in. On a computer it's the small progress bar with a percentage, next to Health. On a phone, tap More and see Profile completion.

Job Match score

A Job Match score shows how closely your resume fits one specific job description. It changes from job to job, so the same resume can score high for one role and lower for another.

Use Resume Health to build a solid base resume, then Job Match to tailor a copy for each job.
