Sections

The editor has Personal info, Professional summary, Work experience, Education, Skills, Projects (optional) and Certifications (optional). Use the up and down arrow icons on an entry to reorder it.

Saving

Your resume saves as you type. The status next to the title shows Synced when it's saved to your account, or Saved on this device when it's only in this browser for now. On a phone it shows Saved or Offline.

Undo and versions

  • On a computer, undo and redo are the curved arrow icons in the toolbar (Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z). On a phone, tap More, then Undo or Redo.

  • To save a version, select the disk icon in the toolbar (Ctrl+S), or on a phone tap More, then Save now.

  • Version history at the bottom of the editor keeps your last 5 saved versions on this device. Choose Restore next to one to go back to it.

On a phone

Switch between Edit and Preview at the top. Export and More sit below them.

Helpful shortcuts

  • Build from resume writes a summary from the details you've already entered.

  • Find from resume under Skills suggests skill terms already in your resume.

Length

The preview shows how many pages your resume has, and Max 2 recommended when it goes past 2 pages.

Rename a resume by selecting its title at the top of the editor.
