When you're signed in, your work saves to your account, so it's there on your phone and your computer:

Saved on this device only
Sometimes work saves only in your browser first, for example when you're offline. In the editor the status shows Saved on this device (on a phone, Offline) instead of Synced. In Interview Prep it shows Saved on this device. It syncs on your next save once you're connected again.
A resume also stays on the device when your plan's resume limit is reached. See "Saved on this device only".
Stays on one device
Your editor version history and the in-app reminders setting stay in the browser where you set them.
Before you log out
If anything hasn't reached your account yet, we ask "Log out of this device?" first. Choose Stay signed in until it syncs. Log out anyway deletes that work from the device.
