Building your first resume

Start a resume, pick a template, fill it in and export it.

  1. From your dashboard, choose Create resume, then pick how to start:

    • Upload a resume (PDF, Word or TXT, up to 8 MB) and we fill in the sections.

    • Tell your Career Story in your own words, and AI drafts the resume.

    • Start from scratch with a blank resume.

  2. Add the role you're targeting. This guides keyword matching and AI rewrites.

  3. Pick a template. Free includes 3 starter templates (Modern Tech, Classic Pro and Minimalist Slate), and Pro unlocks all 20. You can switch later without losing content.

  4. Fill in each section. The writing assistant can rewrite your summary (2 AI credits) or suggest bullet points for your experience (1 AI credit).

  5. Choose Export, then PDF, DOCX (Word) or TXT Document.

Tip: keep one main resume, then save a tailored copy for each job you apply to.
