The writing assistant is the Rewrite button in the editor:

  • in Professional summary, next to Summary details

  • in Work experience, next to Details & Achievements for each role

  1. Fill in the facts first: your role, company and what you did. Rewrite can't be selected until there's something to work from.

  2. Choose Rewrite. The Writing assistant opens and starts writing straight away.

  3. You get versions to choose from, such as Concise, Detailed and Keyword focused.

  4. Choose Apply suggestion on the one you like, then edit it.

Cost

  • Summary rewrite: 2 AI credits

  • Bullet suggestions for a role: 1 AI credit

Each time you choose Rewrite or Try again, it uses credits once. The panel shows the cost, for example "2 credits per request". If the request fails, no credits are used.

Tips

  • The assistant only works from details you've written. Add real numbers and results for stronger bullets.

  • Build from resume, next to Rewrite in the summary, writes a simple summary from your resume without AI and uses no credits.

  • Check every suggestion before you send your resume. Never keep a claim that isn't true.
